From January 11-15, Principal Bob Mahler led a daily 30-minute lunchtime symposium on World War II in conjunction with the book, The Green Glass Sea by Ellen Kleges. Attended by twelve 5th and 6th grade students, students learned about the events leading up to the Manhattan porject. Mr. Mahler shared the many artifacts and ephemera he collects from the time period. It was a wonderful learning opportunity for the students.
